Josh Ward, Class of 2003

Josh joined the Emerald Ridge team when he moved back to Puyallup after a year in Oklahoma. He helped solidify the middle of our lineup and can be counted on to help out his team whatever the situation. Josh’s unorthodox style often frustrated an opponent, giving him a chance to pull out the win.

He became active in school during his year here and is a member of the ASL and Multicultural Clubs. Josh participated in the Martin Luther King Assembly for the ERHS community. Outside of school Josh is a Star Scout, part of the order of the arrow.

Josh’s favorite Jag Wrestling memory is the win at Spanaway Lake, of which he played a big part. He is most proud that he stuck with wrestling to the end of the season during some difficult times this year. His future plans include service in the Air Force starting in the spring of 2005.
