Ryan Halbert , Class of 2002

Ryan has been the only wrestler to occupy our 119 pound weight class in the Jaguar lineup, and has done well at that spot. In his junior year, Ryan was usually the leadoff wrestler as we often gave up forfeits at the first two weight classes. Ryan was always up for the challenge and will always give his best for the team.

As a senior Ryan has made great strides on the mat, and counts his runner-up finish at the Cardinal Classic as the wrestling event he is most proud of.

Outside of school Ryan was involved in the Puyallup Police Explorers and freestyle wrestling. He plans to go to Pierce College for his associates degree in Criminal Justice. At the age of 21 he will test for the Law Enforcement field and plans to make that his career
