The Jaguars started off the dual season with a 40-30 victory over a tough Beamer team. ER won 8 of 6 varsity matches with 5 pins. In the JV dual, ER came out on top 45-20 and won 8 of the 12 matches wrestled including 6 pins. There were nine exhibition matches wrestled and we won seven of those matches. Overall Emerald Ridge had 14 pins.

Twelve Jaguars competed in the annual Wilfong Invitational at Puyallup HS. Kevin Wills and Erik Halsey finished in second place while Gabe Weber, Daniel Kuhn, John Gallagher, John Lopez and Nate Wetterauer finished with co-third places. Finishing in fifth were Joe Cruz, Ryan Kusche and Kyler Koppelman.
Wetterauer tied a team record for the fastest varsity pin at 13 seconds in his third match of the day. |
