Jaguar Wrestling "Wrestler of the Week" for 2004-2005

Week
Wrestler and description of their week
Week 1
Fernando Rodriguez, senior - Rodriguez started his season with 3 wins at the Titan Takedown Tournament, then three dual meet wins at our triple dual at Eastlake.
Week 2
Brandon Martin, junior - Martin won all four of his matches during the week, winning his weight at the Franklin Pierce JV Tournament as well as our dual against Decatur. Martin continues to be an excellent practice partner.
Week 3
AJ Henson, senior - Henson had a good week as he earned his way into the finals at the Cardinal Classic.
Week 4
Julio Rodriguez, sophomore - Rodriguez wrestled well as he earned a spot in the finals of the Pacific Coast Championships, placing second.
Week 5
Jonathan Snyder, junior - Jon won all of his matches this week and was the champion of his group at the Elma Tournament.
Week 6

Jordon Smith, junior - Smith remained undefeated in league this year with two big wins, then placed third at the Jaguar Invitational, losing his first match and then winning the next three.

Nick Webster, junior - Since dropping to 112 pounds over the holiday break, Webster has really turned it on. This week he pinned all of his opponents in two big dual matches and won the Jaguar Invitational.

Week 7
Aaron Brown, sophomore - Aaron dominated his weight at the Klahowya Klassic and won his dual meets by pins this week to run his sophomore record to 26-3.
Week 8
Geoff Nelson, junior - After a one-point loss to the eventual champion at the Jefferson Tournament, Geoff fought his way back to finish third.
Week 9
Keith Schlecht, junior - Schlecht won the 160 pound League Title, avenging an earlier loss in the finals.
Week 10
Kevin Wills, sophomore - Wills wrestled in the finals for the second straight week as he finished second at the Regional Tournament.
Week 11
Brynsen Brown, senior - Brown capped a stellar career with his second state medal placing third at 189 pounds.
