Nothing comes easy in this sport, and Federal Way was ready for the task. Starting at 125 ER won three straight decisions by Julio Rodriguez, Fernando Rodriguez and KEvin Wills. The Jaguars fell behind after six matches, but pulled ahead for good following Keith Schlecht's major decision and three straight pins by Aaron Brown, Dustin Snyder and TJ Smith. Nick Webster sealed the match with a pin at 112. With the win ER clinched at least a tie for the SPSL South League Title.

Klahowya Tournament

3rd Place

Many JV wrestlers gained valuable experience at this tournament, placing third as a team. Nick Webster, Julio Rodriguez and Aaron Brown each won their weight classes. John Gallagher and TJ Smith finished second, Bryce Horey and Jade Anderson were third and Dustin Snyder was fourth. As a team we finished in third place.

January 22
Peninsula Tournament

3rd Place

Brandon Martin pinned his opponent in the finals to put ER into second place, until Peninsula also pinned in the heavyweight finals, knocking the Jaguars back into third place in the last match. Martin won his weight class at 189 while Geoff Nelson, John Lopez and Ryan Kusche finished as runner-ups.
