In a loud gymnasium filled with Jaguar and Ram supporters, the annual rivalry continued with Emerald Ridge coming out on top this year by a score of 37-27. John Gallagher started the match off with a pin in the third round trailing 4-2, and Jordan Smith won a key match 7-6 to give the Jags a 9-0 lead. Rogers bounced back to tie the match with a pin and a good match between two state competitors at 160. Aaron Brown won by major decision and TJ Smith lost in overtime. Brynsen Brown bumped up to 215 for a pin. Rogers regained the lead with two pins, but the Jags answered with two pins of their own by Nick Webster and Justin Timothy to take the lead for good. Julio Rodriguez and Kevin Wills won by decisions to finish the scoring for the Jaguars.
