Titan Takedown Tournament
@ Beamer HS

ER had a good performance at the 2nd Annual Titan Takedown Tournament hosted by Todd Beamer High School. The Jaguars won 3 duals over Kentwood, Federal Way and Tahoma to capture the tournament title. It was a successful start to our season as we had five wrestlers go 3-0 on the night and outscored our opponents 72-39 on total takedowns. The JV wrestlers were grouped into fours and had matches in a round-robin format.

Triple Dual at Eastlake

-Dual Record 3-0

Three SPSL South schools travelled north to Eastlake HS for a triple-dual meet as ER, Rogers and Beamer took on Eastlake, Bothell and Woodinville. The Jaguars defeated Woodinville 70-9, setting team records for most points scored and most pins in a dual meet. In the second match the Jaguars beat Eastlake 46-24, and then defeated Bothell 54-21 to end the night.

Keith Schlecht, Brynsen Brown, Julio Rodriguez, Fernando Rodriguez, John Gallagher and Aaron Brown each won their three matches.

ER JV Tournament

125 wrestlers from 7 different school competed in the 2nd Jaguar JV Tournament, including 28 from Emerald Ridge. Eleven Jags placed first and six placed second.

First Place finishers: John Mejia, Zach Wheeler, Geoff Nelson, AJ Merrell, Brandon Weeks, Jordan Nelson, Ryan Kusche, John Snyder, Samm Kidd, Brandon Martin and Dustin Snyder.
Second Place finishers: Marcus Showalter, Jason Trapp, Colton Casteele, John Lopez, and Harley Wilson.
Third Place finishers: Tyler McRill, Craig Collins, Brayden Goodier, Anthony Morales, AJ Henson, Roman Cruz and Josh Roy.
Fourht Place finishers: Raleigh Salazar, Jake Zanoni, Sam Field and Alex Flori.
