Takedown Jamboree
@ White River HS

Emerald Ridge performed well, though the host school out-wrestled the other teams. In our first dual against White River (2003 3A state Runner-ups), our varsity wrestlers competed well scoring 17 takedowns to the Hornet's 17. Overall White River's depth proved to be the difference. The final score for all levels in the dual was 24-41 in favor of WR.

The second Dual was against Renton and finished in a tie at 28-28. In the final dual against Eatonville, the Jags won 43-18. Including Exhibition matches, ER scored 137 and gave up 121 takedowns. A good learning experience for our wrestlers.

December 5
Triple Dual at Eastlake

After dropping the first dual against Eastlake, the Jags won their next two matches against Woodinville and Bothell.

December 6
ER JV Tournament

90 athletes from 6 schools competed in this JV Invitational. Rogers led the way with 57 points, followed by Emerald Ridge (47), Puyallup (36), Tahoma (31), Sumner (29) and Franklin Pierce (23). Rogers had champions in 8 of the 23 groups. Puyallup had 5 champions, Sumner 3 and the rest had 2 champions. A good day of competition for these squads.
