In a close varsity match, the Jags came up short to the Cardinals of Franklin Pierce, losing 26-35. The match was not decided until the outcome of the 215 pound match was determined, putting FP ahead by 8 with only one match remaining. Mark Bentley and Louis Bernardo pinned their opponents in the first round. It was a solid overall team effort for the Jag Wrestlers with many close matches.

Jag wrestlers won their inaugural home match 43-17 over Jackson HS (of the Everett SD). Emerald Ridge won seven of the nine matches that were wrestled, including pins by Sean Forbes, Jacob Haulman, and Kendall Eisenbacher. Robert Meray won his match in double overtime, scoring the escape to win the match.
